African - Red Pepper Paste (Ghana)

Ingredients
|
- 1/4 Cup Dry Red Wine
- 1 Teaspoon Cayenne
- Salt And Pepper -- to taste
- 1/4 Teaspoon Ginger
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cardamom
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 Teaspoon Coriander
- 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
- 1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 Small Onion -- chopped
- 1 Clove Garlic -- chopped
- 1/4 Cup Paprika

Directions
|
Place all ingredients except paprika in blender, blend until smooth. Heat paprika in sauce for 1 minute at med/high heat. Stir in the mixture until smooth. Allow to cook for 3 minutes stirring occasionally. Cool.
