Australian   -   Egg And Bacon Pie   adapted from Good Food from Australia by Betsy and Graeme Newman

  • 1 Medium Pie Crust
  • 6 Large Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Cheddar Cheese -- Grated, Optional
  • 1 Small Onion -- Grated
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley -- Chopped
  • 4 Slices Bacon -- Chopped
Directions Saute onion and bacon until bacon is crisp. Beat eggs with cheese, milk, salt, pepper and parsley. Pour into hot skillet. Stir contanstantly. When it has become scrambled eggs, pour into pie crust. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees and serve.
