Asian   -   Stir Fried Chicken And Ginger Noodles   adapted from Chicken Cookbook

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 Pounds Boneless Chicken -- sliced
  • 1/4 Teaspoon 5 Spice Powder
  • 1 Clove Garlic -- minced
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoons Peanut Oil
  • 2 Teaspoons Ginger Root -- grated
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper -- chopped
  • 1/4 Pound Broccoli -- chopped
  • 1/2 Pound Egg Noodles -- cooked & drained
  • 2/3 Cup Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Sherry
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 6 Green Onions -- chopped
Directions 1. Cut chicken into thin strips, combine with 5 spice pwoder, garlic and sesame oil in a bowl.
2. Heal oil in wok and add chicken. Stir fry utnil lightly browned and tender.
3. Stir in gingerrroot, pepper and brocoli, stir fry 1 minutes.
4. Add water, sherry, oyster sauce and soy sauce blended with cornstarch. Stir until mixture boils and thickens.
5. Toss with noodles and serve.
Serves 4
