Bulgarian   -   Barbecued Pork Sausages (Kyufteta)   adapted from Bulgarian Rhapsody By Linda Joyce Forristal

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1 Pound Ground Pork
  • 1 Medium Onion -- finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Parsley -- finely chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Cumin
  • 2 Teaspoons Oregano
  • 2 Medium Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Dry Bread Crumbs
  • Salt -- to taste
Directions In large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well and refrigerate overnight. Form into hamburger shaped patties. Grill until juices run clear.
