Bulgarian - Tas-Kebab (Lamb In Wine)

Ingredients
|
- 2 Pounds Lamb Roast -- Cubed
- 2 Medium Onion -- Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Pepper
- 6 Large Juniper Berries
- 1 Medium Bay Leaf
- 1 Can Tomato Paste
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/4 Cup White Wine
- 2 Cups Beef Broth

Directions
|
Mix meat with onions, pepper, juniper, bay leaf and tomato paste. Marinate for 2 hours. Remove bay leaf and juniper. Saute meat and onions in butter for 10 minutes or until golden. Add wine and simmer until evaporated. Add broth and simmer for 50 minutes. Serve with rice or pasta.
