British   -   Egurdouce (Sweet And Sour Lamb)   adapted from De Bors Hede Boke of Cookry

  • 1 Pound Lamb -- Cubed
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Medium Onion -- Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Red Wine
  • 2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Directions Saute meat in butter until brown. Add onion and saute for 5 more minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes until sauce consistency. Serve.
