British   -   Makerel In Sawse (Mackerel In Mint Sauce)   adapted from De Bors Hede Boke of Cookry

  • 1 Cup Mixed Herbs -- Chopped
  • 2 Pounds Mackerel Fillet
  • 1/2 Cup White Wine -- Mixed With
  • 1/2 Cup White Wine Vinegar
Directions In large pan, combine 1 cup water, the wine and vinegar mixture and the herbs. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and add fish. Simmer for 10 minutes, remove and serve with sauce.
