British   -   Syllabub   adapted from British and Irish cooking

  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Sherry
  • 2 Tablespoons Brandy
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/4 Cups Cream
Directions Place all but cream in bowl, mix until sugar dissolves. Add cream and beat until thick. Pour into 4 wine glasses, chill 4 hours, serve with lady fingers, macaroons or sugar cookies.
