British - Tartee (Meat And Fenberry Pie)

Ingredients

- 2 Medium Pie Crust
- 1 Pound Pork -- Cubed
- 1 Pound Chicken -- Cubed
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 6 Ounces Cranberries
- 1 Medium Egg
- 3 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon Fennel Seed -- Crushed
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Pinch Saffron

Directions
|
Line pie pan with 1 pie crust. Saute pork and chicken in butter until browned. Place in pie pan. Scatter cranberries over meat. Combine remaining ingredients, sprinkle over pie. Top with other pie crust, seal and vent. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
