Burmese - Clear Shrimp Lime Soup

Ingredients

- 4 Cups Water
- 12 Jumbo Shrimp -- peeled
- 2 Tablespoons Fish Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice
- 2 Teaspoons Soy Sauce
- 1 Small Onion -- coarsely chopped
- 1 Slice Fresh Ginger Root -- finely chopped
- 1 Medium Jalapeno -- sliced
- 1 Medium Scallion -- sliced
- 1 Tablespoon Cilantro -- chopped

Directions
|
Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan, Add shrimp and fish sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. In a serving bowl, place remaining ingredients, pour hot water and shrimp over and serve.
