Burmese   -   Mandalay Nangyi Soup   adapted from Recipes From The Golden Land The Burmese Kitchen by Marks

  • 4 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Fresh Ginger Root -- finely chopped
  • 1 Clove Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Fish Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Celery Leaves -- coarsely chopped
  • 2 Medium Scallions -- diced
Directions Heat the broth with ginger, garlic, pepper and fish sauce. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Serve hot, garnished with scallions and celery leaves.
