Ingredients

- 3 Tablespoons Peanut Oil
- 1 Clove Garlic -- finely chopped
- 1 Inch Fresh Ginger Root -- chopped
- 1 Medium Onion -- thinly sliced
- 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 Cups Tempeh
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Teaspoons Soy Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Roasted Peanuts -- coarsely chopped
- 1 Large Ripe Tomato -- cubed
- 1 Medium Jalapeno -- quartered

Directions

Heat oil in skillet, fry garlic, ginger, onion and turmeric in moderate heat until brown. Add chile flakes, tempeh, salt, and soy sauce. Stir fry 1 minute. Add peanuts and stir-fry 2 minutes. Add tomatoe, stir-fry 2 minutes. add jalapeno, saute 1 minute and serve.
