Cambodian   -   Lover Sauce (Cambodia)   adapted from Dining with Headhunters

Ingredients
  • 1 Tablespoon Chile Paste
  • 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Fish Sauce
  • 12 Leaves Basil -- or mint
Directions heat all but the basil in saucepan until mixture has a syrupy consistency. stir in the leaves and serve hot. goes well with catfish or any other white fish.
