Cambodian   -   Marinated Beef With Lime Sauce (Loc Lac)   adapted from The Elephant Walk Cookbook

  • 7 Cloves Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Pounds Flank Steak -- cubed
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Lime Lime Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Water
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
Directions Combine garlic, soy sauce, sugar & pepper in large bowl. Add beef, stir, marinate 30 mintues. In large skiillet heat oil, saute beef 3-4 minutes. Combine lime juice, water & pepper in small bowl, Turn heat off, toss on the lime mixture and serve over rice.
