Chilean - Pastel De Papas (Meat Pie With Potato Topping)

Ingredients

- 3 Pounds Chicken -- Cubed
- 1 Stalk Celery -- Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Parsley -- Chopped
- 1 Teaspoon Oregano -- Chopped
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 3 Medium Onion -- Chopped
- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 3 Cloves Garlic -- Chopped
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin
- 2 Teaspoons Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Pepper
- 2 Teaspoons Paprika
- 12 Large Olive -- Chopped
- 2 Large Hard-Boiled Egg -- Chopped
- 5 Medium Potato -- Cooked And Mashed
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese -- Optional

Directions
|
Saute chicken, celery, parsley and oregano in oil until browned. Add beef, onions, garlic, cumin, salt and pepper. Saute for 10 minutes. Add paprika and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Place meat mixture into large baking dish. Top with a layer of mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired and bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes.
