Chinese   -   Shiitake Mushroom Soup (China)   adapted from unknown

  • 2 Cans Chicken Broth
  • 3 Cloves Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1 Package Shiitake Mushrooms -- sliced
  • 2 Stalks Celery -- chopped
  • 1 Cup Chinese Cabbage -- shredded
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Rosemary
  • 1 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • 8 Ounces Lo Mein Noodles
  • Hot Sauce -- to taste
Directions Saute celery, cabbage, garlic and mushrooms in oil until tender. Mix all ingredients except noodles in a saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes. Add noodles, boil, reduce heat, simmer uncovered 3 minutes. Serve with hot sauce on the side.
