Czech   -   Fruit Sponge Cake   adapted from Czech Cuisine

Ingredients
  • 6 Large Eggs
  • 1 1/8 Cups Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 5 Ounces Farina?
  • Nonstick Spray
  • Flour -- for dusting
  • 20 Ounces Fruit -- with juice
Directions Beat the eggs yolks with half of the sugar, add melted butter drop by drop and finally fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, alternately with flour and farina. Grease the baking tin, dust with flour. Pour in the dough and then add the fruit of your choice. To prevent flour from sinking, dip it in flour. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 30 minutes.
