Ingredients
  • 2 Cloves Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Red Wine Vinegar
  • Salt And Pepper -- to taste
  • 3 Pounds Rump Steak Or Tenderloin Roast
  • 1/4 Cup Dark Rum
Directions combine garlic, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper in a bowl and stir well. marinate steak at least 3 hours. Drain, reserving marinade. broil steak about 8 minutes on each side for rare. Basting from time to time with marinade. Transfer steak to a flame resistant dish. Pour pan juice over it. Heat rum in small saucepan and pour over the steak. In a open space, ignite steak and let the flames go out. slice and serve.
