Danish   -   Almond Bread   adapted from Wonderful, Wonderful Danish Cooking by Jensen

Ingredients
  • 3 Medium Eggs -- beaten
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 1/2 Cups Flour -- sifted
  • 1/2 Cup Almonds -- chopped
Directions Add sugar to eggs and beat until very thick. Add flour with baking powder. Blend in chopped almonds and mix well. Place in greased loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes. Frost if desired.
