Cajun and Creole   -   Red Bean And Red Pepper Soup   adapted from cajun cooking

  • 1 Can Red Kidney Beans
  • 2 Large Onion -- chopped
  • 3 Stalks Celery -- chopped
  • Salt And Pepper -- to taste
  • 3 Large Red Pepper -- chopped
  • 4 Tablespoons Red Wine
  • 2 Cups Chicken Stock
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
Directions add all ingredients to stockpot and bring to boil. cover reduce heat and allow to simmer for 3 hours. puree in food processor and serve.
