Ingredients

- 1 1/2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Small Red Cabbage -- thinly sliced
- 1 Medium Tart Apples -- chopped
- 1/4 Cup Vinegar
- 1 Cup Red Currant Jelly -- optional
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Pinch Sugar

Directions
|
Melt butter in a 2 quart saucepan. add cabbage, apples, vinegar, jelly and water. cover and simmer until cabbage is tender about 1 hour. add salt and sugar. Serve.
