Ingredients

- 9 Tablespoons Butter
- 4 Large Eggs
- 2/3 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 Pound Cherries -- Pitted
- 1 Cup Sugar

Directions
|
Beat butter until frothy. Add eggs and sugar, then flour. Beat until fluffy. Add vanilla, beat well. Pour into a baking pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Allow to cool. Puree cherries in blender with sugar. Spread cherry puree over cake and serve.
