Finnish   -   Beef Ragout   adapted from finnish cooking

Ingredients
  • 1 Pound Lean Beef -- cubed
  • 2 Medium Onions -- diced
  • 8 Ounces Mushrooms -- sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Hot Mustard -- dry or wet
  • 1 1/2 Cups Beef Broth
  • 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
  • Salt And White Pepper -- to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Parsley -- chopped
Directions brown beef, onions and musrhooms in oil. Stir in flour, mustard and broth. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat until warm through serve.
