Finnish   -   Lamb With Dill (Tilliliha)   adapted from The Finnish Cookbook by Beatrice A Ojakangas

  • 2 Pounds Lamb -- Cubed
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 4 Cups Beef Broth
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Dill
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
Directions Brown meat in butter, add broth, salt and dill. Simmer for 1 hour. Stir together flour, sugar and vinegar. Add to the meat slowly, try to avoid lumps forming. Cook until the liquid thickens and serve with boiled new potatoes.
Serves 1
