French   -   Cassoulet   adapted from Betty Crockers New International Cookbook

Ingredients
  • 1 Pound Smoked Sausage -- sliced
  • 1 Can Great Northern Beans -- rinsed and drained
  • 1 Can Kidney Beans -- rinsed and drained
  • 1 Can Black Beans -- rinsed and drained
  • 1 Can Tomato Sauce
  • 3 Medium Carrots -- thinly sliced
  • 2 Small Onions -- sliced and ringed
  • 2 Cloves Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Dry Red Wine
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar -- packed
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Thyme
Directions heat oven to 375 degrees. mix all ingredients in ungreased 3 quart casserole dish. bake 1 hour or until carrots are tender.
Serves 8
