French   -   Onion Tart   adapted from unknown

  • 1 Loaf Frozen Bread Dough -- thawed
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 3 Large Onions -- thinly sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon Basil
  • 1/8 Teaspoon White Pepper
  • 10 Greek Olives -- pitted
Directions Saute onions, 25 minutes until very soft. Stir in basil and pepper. Shape dough into flattened rectangle. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Let rest for 15 minutes. Spoon onion mixture over dough, to within 1 inch of the edge. Top with olives, let rest another 15 minutes. Heat oven to 425* Bake until brown, 15-20 minutes.
Serves 10
