German   -   Gefuller Schincken (Stuffed Ham)   adapted from German Cooking

Ingredients
  • 3 Pounds Ham
  • 1/2 Pound Pork Sausage
  • 1 Small Onion -- Chopped
  • 1 Medium Egg
  • 1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley
  • 1 Teaspoon Marjoram
  • 1 Teaspoon Thyme
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
Directions Cut 2 pockets into the ham with a sharp knife. Combine, sausage, onion, egg, bread crumbs, parsley, majoram, thyme, salt and pepper. Stuff this mixture into the pockets. Rub ham with oil and sprinkle with paprika. Cover with foil, bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Remove foil and bake for 20 more minutes. Serve.
