German   -   Grillen Lachs Steak (Broiled Salmon Steaks)   adapted from German Cooking

  • 4 Large Salmon Steak
  • 1 Lemon Lemon Juice
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter -- Melted
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 Clove Garlic -- Chopped
  • 1 Small Onion -- Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Parsley -- Chopped
  • 1 Cup Emmental Cheese -- Grated
Directions Sprinkle lemon juice over salmon. Place on grill or broiler pan. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper. Broil or grill the salmon for 5 minutes per side. Combine any remaining melted butter with garlic, onion and parsley in a saucepan. Saute for 5 minutes. Serve salmon, topped with onion mixture and cheese. Serve.
