German   -   Kuchen (German Cake)   adapted from German Cooking

  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 4 Medium Egg
  • 1 Lemon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Cup Pecans -- Chopped
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Directions Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add lemon juice, mix well. Add flour and baking powder. Beat to a smooth batter. Pour batter into a 8 inch round pan. Combine nuts and cinnamon and sprinkle over the batter. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool for 10 minutes and serve.
