German - Schneller Sauerbraten (Quick Sour Beef)

Ingredients

- 4 Pounds Sirloin Steak -- Cubed
- 1/2 Cup Red Wine
- 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Small Onion -- Chopped

Directions
|
Combine wine, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Marinate beef in this mixture for 30 minutes, turning frequently. Remove beef, reserve marinade. Saute onion in oil for 5 minutes. Add beef and saute until well browned about 15 minutes. Pour marinade over beef and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve with rice, potatoes or noodles.
