Description  
Ingredients
  • 1 Medium Onion -- chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic -- chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Pounds Beef -- cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 Cup Dry Red Wine
  • 2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 Can Tomato -- 8 oz
  • 1 1/2 Pounds Pearl Onion
  • Feta Cheese -- crumbled
Directions Saute onion & garlic. Add beef, brown it for 25 minutes. Drain fat. Stir in remaining ingredients except the pearls and the cheese. Heat to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 1/4 hours. Add pearl onions. Simmer 30 minutes. Discard bay leaf, Serve topped with feta.
