Greek   -   Cheese & Chive Triangles   adapted from Betty Crockers New International Cookbook

  • 1 Pound Feta Cheese
  • 2 Large Eggs -- beaten
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Chives -- chopped
  • White Pepper -- to taste
  • 16 Ounces Phyllo Dough -- thawed
  • 1/4 Cup Butter -- melted
Directions Grease cookie sheet, crumble cheese in bowl, stir in eggs, chives and pepper until well mixed. Cut stack of phyllo sheets lengthwise into thrids. Place 1 heaping teaspoon of filling on end of strip, then fold end over end in triangular shape to opposite end. Repeat.
Brush butter over triangles, bake at 350* for 20 minutes. Serve warm.
