Greek   -   Greek Oregano And Lemon Bread   adapted from Ethnic Breads

Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 Teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
  • 2 1/2 Cups Bread Flour
  • 3/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Lemon Zest -- grated
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 1/4 Cups Water
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
Directions add all ingredients except lemon juice as recommended by machine manual. Process on bread cycle as recommended by manual. When bread cycle is complete brush lemon juice on the bread.
Serves 1
