Hungarian   -   Halaszle Vegyes Halbol (Fish Soup)   adapted from Culinaria Hungary

  • 3 Pounds Fish Fillet -- Any Kind
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
  • 1 Medium Bell Pepper -- Chopped
  • 1 Medium Tomato -- Chopped
  • 2 Medium Onion -- Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Paprika
  • 2 Medium Jalapeno -- Chopped
  • 6 Cups Chicken Stock
  • French Bread
Directions Cube the fish and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bring stock to a boil, add all ingredients but the fish. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add fish and simmer for 10 minutes more. Serve with the bread.
