Hungarian   -   Porkolt Csirke (Chicken Porkolt)   adapted from Culinaria Hungary

  • 1 Whole Chicken -- In 8 Pieces
  • 1 Large Onion -- Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  • Salt -- To Taste
  • 2 Medium Bell Pepper -- Chopped
  • 1 Large Tomato -- Chopped
Directions Saute onion and chicken in oil until well browned. Add paprika and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add peppers and tomatoes. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve over rice, pasta or potatoes.
