Filipino - Filipino Chicken Stew

Ingredients
|
- 3 Pounds Chicken -- cubed
- 5 Cups Water
- 1 Tablespoon Ginger
- 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Large Onions -- chopped
- 2 Stalks Celery -- chopped
- 4 Medium Potato -- cubed
- 1 Small Cabbage -- coarsely Broken
- 3 Medium Scallion -- chopped

Directions

In large saucepan, combine chicken, water, ginger, pepper, salt, onion and celery. Bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover and simmer until chicken is tender about 20 minutes. Add cabbage and green onions and cook another 8 minutes. Serve.
