Filipino   -   Pork With Vermicelli   adapted from The Philippine Cookbook by Reynaldo Alejandro

  • 1 Medium Egg -- beaten
  • 1 Pound Ground Pork
  • 1 Stalk Celery -- finely chopped
  • 1 Small Onion -- finely chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 3 Cups Water
  • 1 Bundle Vermicelli
Directions Mix pork, egg, celery, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Form into 1 inch diameter balls. Bring water to a boil and add meatballs. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add vermicelli and simmer for another 5 minutes.
