Ingredients
  • 4 Medium Potato -- Cubed
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 Medium Jalapeno -- Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Fenugreek Seed
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Kalonji Seeds -- Onion Seeds
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Fennel Seed
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cumin Seed
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Black Mustard Seed
  • 4 Medium Green Tomato -- Chopped
  • Salt -- To Taste
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • -- Cooked
Directions Saute fenugreek, kalonji, fennel, cumin and mustard seeds in oil for 1 minute. Add ginger, potatoes, jalapeno tomatoes, salt, turmeric and water. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add sugar and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve over rice.
