India   -   Naan   adapted from Ethnic Breads

  • 1 Cup Roti Flour
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 Teaspoons Dry Active Yeast
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Plain Yogurt
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Black Sesame Seeds
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
Directions Add all ingredients except butter and sesame seeds into bread machine as recommended. Process on dough cycle. When cycle ends, romove dough and divide into 8 pieces. On floured surface, roll into ovals, cover with towel let rise 20 minutes. Melt butter, brush tops with butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. bake at 450* for 10 minutes. After baking, brush bottom of each naan with water, stack and cover.
