Indonesian   -   Tinutuan (Manadonese Sweet Corn Soup)   adapted from Indonesian Regional Food and Cookery by Sri Owen

  • 2 Cups Cassava -- Cubed
  • 1 Small Butternut Squash -- Cubed
  • 2 Cups Corn
  • 1/2 Cup Rice
  • 4 Ounces Bamboo Shoots
  • 5 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Grass
  • 20 Leaves Basil
Directions Combine all ingrediants but basil, bring to a simmer and simmer for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with basil leaves and serve.
