Iranian - Persian Kidney Beans

Ingredients

- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 Large Onion -- Chopped
- 3 Cloves Garlic -- Chopped
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 Cup Orange Juice
- 1 Lime Lime Juice
- 1 Can Tomato Paste
- 8 Cups Kidney Beans -- Cooked
- 1 Medium Jalapeno -- Chopped
- Pita Bread

Directions
|
Saute onion in oil for 5 minutes. Add garlic, salt, cumin and cinnamon. Saute for 5 minutes. Stir in orange and lime juice. Mix well. Add tomato paste and simmer for 10 miutes. Add beans and jalapeno and simmer for 20 minutes. The mixture should fairly dry. Stuff into pita bread and serve.
