Irish - Farmhouse Broth

Ingredients

- 1 Pound Beef Brisket -- Cubed
- 1 Ounce Split Peas
- 1 Ounce Lentils
- 1 Ounce Barley
- 1 Large Leek -- Chopped
- 1 Large Carrot -- Chopped
- 1 Small Turnip -- Chopped
- 1 Medium Onion -- Chopped
- 1 Stalk Celery -- Chopped
- Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
- 2 Tablespoons Parsley -- Chopped
- 8 Cups Beef Broth

Directions
|
Bring meat and broth to a boil. Simmer for 1 hour. Add remaining ingredients except parsley. Simmer for 30 minutes. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
