Ingredients
  • 1 Pound Beef Brisket -- Cubed
  • 1 Ounce Split Peas
  • 1 Ounce Lentils
  • 1 Ounce Barley
  • 1 Large Leek -- Chopped
  • 1 Large Carrot -- Chopped
  • 1 Small Turnip -- Chopped
  • 1 Medium Onion -- Chopped
  • 1 Stalk Celery -- Chopped
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley -- Chopped
  • 8 Cups Beef Broth
Directions Bring meat and broth to a boil. Simmer for 1 hour. Add remaining ingredients except parsley. Simmer for 30 minutes. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
Serves 4
