Irish - Lentil And Bacon Broth

Ingredients

- 2 Pounds Ham -- Cubed
- 6 Ounces Red Lentils
- 2 Large Onion -- Chopped
- 2 Large Carrots -- Chopped
- 1 Medium Turnip -- Chopped
- 3 Large Potatoes -- Chopped
- 3 Tablespoons Parsley -- Chopped
- Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
- 6 Cups Chicken Broth

Directions
|
Bring ham, lentils, onions, carrots and turnips to a boil in the broth. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add potatoes and simmer for 15 minutes. Add parsley. Simmer for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
