Italian   -   Continental Fondue   adapted from New International Fondue Cookbook

  • 1 Clove Garlic -- minced
  • 1/2 Pound Swiss Cheese -- minced
  • 1/2 Pound Fontina Cheese Or Bel Paese -- minced
  • 3/4 Cup Dry White Wine
  • 2 Tablespoons Brandy
  • French Or Italian Bread
Directions Rub the fondue pot or microwave dish with garlic. Place cheese in dish and cover with wine, let stand at room temperature for 5 hours. Just before serving time place over low heat (or medium microwave) and stir frequently until smooth. Blend in brandy and serve.
