Ingredients
  • 1/4 Cup Barley
  • 1/4 Cup Wheatberries
  • 1/4 Cup Spelt
  • 1/3 Cup Pinto Beans -- Cooked
  • 1/3 Cup Lentils
  • 1/2 Cup Corn
  • 1/2 Cup Garbanzo Beans -- Cooked
  • 1/2 Cup Fava Beans -- Cooked
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 8 Slices Bacon -- Chopped
  • 2 Medium Onion -- Chopped
  • 1 Bunch Marjoram -- Chopped
  • 1 Can Tomato Paste
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
  • 4 Cups Chicken Stock
Directions Saute onion and bacon in oil until onion is browned. Add marjoram and tomato paste, simmer for 15 minutes. Add spelt, wheatberries and stock. Simmer for 1 hour. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve.
