Italian   -   Pasta E Fagioli Alla Veneta (Pasta With Beans)   adapted from Culinaria Italy

  • 2 Cups Lima Beans -- Cooked
  • 8 Slices Bacon -- Chopped
  • 1 Medium Onion -- Chopped
  • 1 Medium Carrot -- Chopped
  • 1 Stalk Celery -- Chopped
  • 8 Ounces Tagliatelle Pasta -- Bow Ties
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
Directions Saute onion, carrot, and celery with bacon for 5 minutes. Add beans and simmer for 5 minutes. Cook pasta as directed. Season beans with salt and pepper. Serve pasta covered with beans.
