Italian   -   Ragu d'Agnello (Pasta Sauce With Lamb)   adapted from Culinaria Italy

  • 1/2 Pound Ground Lamb
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
  • 2 Cloves Garlic -- Chopped
  • 2 Medium Bay Leaf
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup Dry White Wine
  • 1 Can Tomatoes -- Chopped
  • 1 Large Red Bell Pepper -- Chopped
  • 16 Ounces Macaroni
Directions Season meat with salt and pepper. Let stand 1 hour. Brown meat in oil with garlic and bay leaves. Add wine and simmer for 10 minutes. Add tomatoes and bell pepper. Simmer for 1 hour. Cook pasta as directed and serve topped with sauce.
