Italian   -   Spaghetti Alla Carbonara (Spaghetti With Bacon And Egg)   adapted from Culinaria Italy

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 Pound Bacon -- Chopped
  • 1 Clove Garlic -- Chopped
  • 16 Ounces Spaghetti
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
  • 2 Medium Eggs -- Beaten
  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 Cup Romano Cheese
Directions Saute bacon and garlic in butter until browned. Cook pasta as directed. Add pasta to bacon. Mix well. Add eggs, salt and pepper. Stir until eggs set. Add cheese and serve.
