Italian   -   Tagliatelle With Meat Bolognese Sauce   adapted from classic pasta

Ingredients
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Small Yellow Onion -- chopped
  • 2 Medium Carrots -- chopped
  • 2 Stalks Celery -- chopped
  • 1 Pound Lean Ground Beef
  • Salt -- to taste
  • 1 Cup Dry White Wine
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 2 Cans Stewed Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Parmigiano-Reggano Cheese
  • 1 Pound Tagliatelle Pasta
Directions 1. Saute in oil, onion, carrots & celery.
2. When onion is done, add beef and salt, brown.
3. Add wine, cook until it is completely evaporated.
4. Add milk and nutmeg, cook until milk is evaporated.
5. Add tomatoes, simmer uncovered for 3 hours!
6. Prepare pasta and serve.
