Jamaican - Jamaican Jerk Tempeh

Ingredients
|
- 4 Medium Scallions -- chopped
- 1 Small Yellow Onion -- chopped
- 1 Teaspoon Scotch Bonnet -- chopped
- 1/4 Cup Light Soy Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar -- packed
- 1/2 Teaspoon Thyme
- 1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/2 Teaspoon Allspice
- 1 Pound Tempeh -- in 1/2 squares

Directions
|
preheat oven to 375 degrees. combine all ingredients except tempeh in food proccessor. pulse for 15 seconds. place tempeh in 9 x13 inch baking pan. pour sauce over. bake 10-15 minutes until tempeh forms a brown crust. remove tempeh from sauce and pour sauce in bowl and use for dipping.
